Based in Manila and founded in 2014 Coins.ph is a mobile platform connecting millions of the ‘unbanked’ people across Southeast Asia. The platform utilizes existing retail locations to allow users to make deposits and withdrawals. This feature removes  one of the biggest cost components for more traditional retail banking.

Coins.ph  processes thousands of transactions per day, including remittances, bills payment, mobile top-ups, and other services provided by third-party covered financial institutions. They also have a service called “Teller”, which they names the first human ATM network that extends the reach of financial institutions beyond their existing branch infrastructure.
